Sampoorn was established in the year 2000 in the city of Bengaluru, India and registered in 2006 as a society. It is a Non-Government Organization and a Non-Profit Organization registered with Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) - Ministry Of Textiles, Government of India. It was formed with an exclusive goal – encourage Indian arts and handicrafts from all over the country, especially the rural and tribal art forms and to preserve and promote them to the modern population.
