Shipping and Returns

We follow different policies and rates for shipping in India and the rest of the world. We use registered post/ speed post through India Post as well as private couriers like DHL, Fedex, DTDC, Delhivery etc with the goal of delivering the goods in the shortest duration.

Most of our products are sourced from artisans who do not stay in metropolitan areas and hence the shipping process will take some time.

In addition to this, we also perform Quality Assurance checks on the products so that only products without defects are shipped to customers. This adds to the shipping duration.

Each product is packed as per standard packing norms. We are not providing postal insurance and are not liable for any damages which occur during the transit and delivery.

Domestic Shipping

Most orders take less than a fortnight to be delivered, while in exceptional cases there will be some delay due to unforeseen circumstances.

International Shipping

We use India Post for international shipping as we have found them to be the most reliable shipping partners. Following are the rates for International shipping based on price value of the order for Standard Post.

*Disclaimer – It might take 10-12 weeks for the shipment to be delivered by standard post (surface mail). Once an international order is placed, we will contact you if you need faster shipping options. If you choose them, the extra charges will be calculated as per the actuals and you have to pay the same.

Return and Refund

We at Sampoorn do stringent quality checks to make sure we ship only the products which meet the highest standards of quality and workmanship. The chances of return due to quality issues are extremely rare.

In case you are not satisfied with the product, you have a 7 day window after the delivery of product to request any returns. But keep the following points in mind before asking for a return.

a) As all products are handcrafted, no two pieces will be the same. Therefore there will be a small difference between the product in photo and the actual product. This is an inevitable sign of handmade products.

b) Due to the camera settings used and the capabilities, limitations and settings of your device’s display, there may be slight a difference in colour patterns of the product in the photos and the actual product. This is not considered a defect.

You have to keep all the tags and invoices intact and there should be no signs of usage or damage on the product. Washing of fabrics and weaves are not allowed for exchange or refund.

If you want to return a product, the shipping expense for the same should be borne by you.
